Davis Bozeman Johnson Law was formed in 2020 when Attorneys Mawuli Davis, Robert Bozeman of Decatur's Davis Bozeman Law, and Attorney Francys Johnson of Statesboro partnered to expand the vision of providing best-in-class legal representation grounded in liberation to communities across Georgia.

For more than 20 years, the partners have demonstrated a genuine concern and support for uplifting our community by providing:

  1. accountable leadership to organizations and collective actions;

  2. pro bono (free) legal services;

  3. educational Workshops and Training; and

  4. financial support to educational programs and empowerment initiatives.

Accountable Servant Leaders

From the Kilombo Academic & Cultural Institute, Let Us Make Man, and the SisterCARE Alliance to the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia NAACP, and New Georgia Project; the partners of this Firm are recognized leaders with a proven track record of accountable service that improves the Human Condition.

Our pro bono portfolio aims to ensure that justice, equality, and fair play are a reality for people that have historically been marginalized and disenfranchised. Additionally, we provide educational programs and empowerment workshops at churches, conferences, schools, and other gatherings to educate the community about their legal rights. We have committed financial resources to support children’s programs, community activism, and other efforts that seek to expand and protect the human rights of all members of society.

State-wide Reach and Experience that counts

With offices in Decatur, Statesboro, and Savannah and a combination of more than 75 years of combined experience, DBJ Law is uniquely situated to provide experienced trial attorneys when you need them most. Our primary practice areas are Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, and Civil Rights.

Beyond billboards and silly television commercials

We help families face life-changing injuries and death due to another’s fault or negligence. Results matter and that's the secret to our success!

Accountable Servant-Leaders

We help communities help themselves by serving across the communities we represent as leaders within civic, social, academic, and faith institutions.

Moreover, through our Division of Community Affairs, we are the collaborators of choice for progressive groups seeking to build community.

We are guided by the words of the Hebrew prophet Micah 6:8 that admonishes us to Love Mercy, Do Justice and Walk Humbly.

About the Pempasie. Davis Bozeman Johnson Law's principal mark honors this west African Ghanian symbol which means "readiness". The powerful African symbol evokes resolute determination. According to The Adinkra Dictionary, the design of this symbol resembles the links of a chain and implies strength through unity as well as the importance of being prepared.
